The Defence Headquarters Garrison Abuja and Naval Base Abuja have pledged to strengthen operational coordination and inter-Service cooperation to enhance security in the Federal Capital Territory.
The commitment was made on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, when the Commander, DHQ Garrison Abuja, Major General RT Utsaha, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore OE Oladipo.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration, particularly ahead of the forthcoming elections, with both commanders emphasising sustained synergy and mutual support.
The engagement ended with an exchange of souvenirs as a mark of goodwill.
