Super Falcons defender, Osinachi Ohale, has announced her retirement from international football after 16 years of representing Nigeria.
The 34-year-old made the announcement in a farewell message on Friday, bringing an end to a national-team career that spanned four FIFA Women’s World Cup appearances and seven Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournaments.
Ohale finished her international career with 86 caps and five WAFCON titles, having been part of Nigeria’s championship-winning teams in 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2024. (TheCable)

The veteran defender thanked her teammates, coaches, the Nigeria Football Federation, her family and Nigerian fans for their support throughout her career.
